CERI expert meeting on Gender, ICT and Education, 10 April 2008

The Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) held a one day expert meeting on Gender, ICT and Education, to discuss work-in-progress, and the preparation of a forthcoming Expert Meeting on the subject, jointly organized by OECD and the Norwegian Ministry of Education, on 2-3 June 2008.  The work carried out in this area is part of a CERI project on New Millennium Learners (NML), which  started in January 2007.  This preparatory expert meeting was an opportunity for experts to discuss the research review on Gender, ICT and education, to identify new topics and / or new perspectives to be included in the review, as well as new research areas. Also, participants identified possible policy issues for discussion, and sought advice on expert-candidates for participation at the meeting in June.
