Trade Capacity Building Database and Survey

The Doha Development Agenda (DDA) Database (http://tcbdb.wto.org), established jointly by the WTO and the OECD/DAC in November 2002, is a user-friendly tool that monitors the delivery of donor-funded Trade-Related Technical Assistance and Capacity Building (TRTA/CB) projects and programmes. The Database aims to assist the development and trade policy communities to share information and achieve higher degrees of coordination and coherence.

The DDA Database features a statistical analysis component in the form of "data cubes" that show the value and number of records for 2001 to 2006, broken down by recipient (including by region and income groups), funding country/agency and implementing country/agency. It also provides information, by category, of trade-related technical assistance and capacity building activities for over 40 bilateral and multilateral donor agencies.

The data cubes (updated March 2008) contain information on three main elements of trade-related technical assistance and capacity building as shown below:

Please read Guidance for data analysis and Guidance for the use of the data cubes.
