Biography

Robert Zimmerman, a Dutch national, is a policy analyst for the DevCom Network. He re-joined the Development Centre in August 2007 after having worked at the Centre for several months in 2006. Robert holds an MSc and BSc degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Amsterdam and the Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) in Paris. Prior to joining the Centre, he worked in IT and as a researcher and lecturer for the Universities of Nottingham and Amsterdam.

 

Robert’s analytical work focuses on development communication / education policies and public attitudes towards aid and development. Together with the Network Coordinator, he forms the secretariat of the Informal Network of DAC Development Communicators.
