  • European Day of the Entrepreneur in Zagreb, Croatia, 5-6 October 2004
    Eurocities and the European Commission’s PAXIS programme have launched this pilot project to develop the concept of the European Day of the Entrepreneur (EDE) and to built on the experiences of the cities that organise entrepreneurial events at local level.   • "Slum Housing: A Crisis for the Urban Poor in the Developing World”
    This is an online feature launched on September 10 by the Development Gateway related to Target 11 of the UN Millennium Development Goals—to significantly improve the lives of 100 million slum dwellers by 2020. The Urban Age Institute (LEED Partners) is actively implicated in this project.
