This publication provides partner country breakdowns for trade in services as a whole, transport services, travel, other commercial services and government services (balance of payments basis). Service transactions between residents of the reporting country and non-residents are broken down by partner country for 28 OECD member countries plus Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China), the European Union and euro area. It complements the information provided in the joint OECD-Eurostat publication " OECD Statistics on International Trade in Services: Detailed Tables by Service Category", which presents balance of payments data by type of service at the most detailed level available.
This statistical publication is divided into two sections:
-
Section A: Summary tables and analysis contains tables showing estimated patterns of world and OECD trade in services and, for the reporting countries, the top seven trading partners included in this report. It also presents charts showing for the European Union, Japan and the United States the breakdown of total services exports (credits) and imports (debits) according to their trading partners (main partners and regional groupings).
- Section B: Country tables including data for 28 of the 30 OECD Member countries plus Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China), European Union, euro area and European Union institutions for which partner country information is available. Data for the Russian federation are available in the electronic version. This presentation provides data on service exports and imports by country with over 55 partner countries plus continents and geographic/economic regional groupings for trade in services as a whole, transport services, travel, other commercial services, and government services. Countries were requested to submit data at the most detailed level possible of trading partners.
This publication is released once a year.
