OECD Economic Outlook No. 85, June 2009

Note: An Interim economic assessment for OECD countries was released on Thursday 3 September 2009, two months ahead of the publication of the next OECD Economic Outlook.

 

Twice a year, the OECD Economic Outlook analyses the major trends and examines the economic policies required to foster high and sustainable growth in member countries.

The present issue covers the outlook to end-2010 for both OECD countries and selected non-OECD economies.

Together with a wide range of cross-country statistics, the Outlook provides a unique tool to keep abreast of world economic developments.

In addition to the themes featured regularly, this issue contains a special chapter entitled “Beyond the crisis: Medium-term challenges relating to potential growth, unemployment and fiscal positions.”
