Date of release: 24 April 2008
The OECD Compendium of Productivity Indicators was issued for the first time in 2005. The present edition constitutes the 2007-2008 update of the wide range of indicators which were published in 2006 but also includes new indicators on productivity. The compendium also provides methodological notes and describes the measurement challenges and the data choices that were made, as well as the remaining measurement problems. It mainly draws on the OECD Productivity Database, but also on other sources such as the OECD STAN database for Structural Analysis, which enables productivity calculations for individual industries, the OECD System of Unit Labour Costs and Related Indicators and the OECD Structural and Demographic Business Statistics.
