This publication reviews the compliance of 30 OECD donor countries with the anti-corruption commitments they made in Accra. It assesses progress in combating corruption and in tracking and recovering illegal assets to inform decision-makers of progress at the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness, which will be held in Busan in November 2011.

The policy paper Setting an agenda for collective action provides guiding principles, action points and next steps for donors to take coordinated action in the fight against corruption one step further. Integrity in statebuilding explores the complementarities between the international community’s current approaches towards both statebuilding and fighting corruption in fragile states. To tackle corruption and to build integrity in fragile states, those involved in anti-corruption actions should position their activities as an integral part of the wider, overall vision and process of statebuilding. They should adopt a statebuilding ‘lens’.
