Senior budget officials from central, eastern and south-eastern European countries

Budget Directors from OECD member countries have been meeting regularly since 1980 in the Working Party of Senior Budget Officials, colloquially known as the SBO.

The OECD Senior Budget Officials regional network for Central, Eastern and South-Eastern European Countries (CESEE SBO) was established in 2004 in The Hague. The first meeting included budget directors and other senior officials from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, FYR Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States.

The 5th meeting will be held in St.Petersburg, Russian Federation, 24-25 June 2009.
