PEB Archives in Mexico

PEB is pleased to announce that its document archives will be housed in Mexico and made available to everyone.

The Architecture for Education Division at CIPAE (International Centre for Prospective and Higher Studies) in Puebla, Mexico, will care for the Programme’s historic set of books, reports, guidelines and architectural reviews related to educational infrastructure. CIPAE will classify and scan the selection and make it accessible worldwide (along with documents from UNESCO’s former Architecture for Education Unit). The archives come from a number of countries and include material on school design and use, space management in higher education, safety, furniture, libraries and more collected over the past few decades.
