The aims of this agenda item are to:

provide information to member countries on the current situation with respect to short-term economic statistics for large non-member economies (NMEs), in particular those for China and India;
-
gauge member country priorities with respect to the identification of key short-term statistics etc., and the role that STESWP could possibly play in this area.
