Within the framework of the CCNM programme of co-operation and policy dialogue with Russia in effect since 1993, the OECD co-organised with Russia's Northwest regional government, a half-a-day investment roundtable on 19 June 2002 in Saint Petersburg. The roundtable discussed the latest developments in the field of FDI with local authorities, shared recent OECD work and sounded out proposals for 2003. It was attended by officials from regional government representatives, Russian central government organisations, private sector and banks, OECD member country and multilateral organisation representatives. It coincided with the annual St. Petersburg Economic Forum, dubbed as "Russia's Davos".
