Second Conference on Private Pensions in Asia

 29-30 May 2003, Hyderabad, India

This meeting was jointly organised by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, the International Network of Pensions Regulators and Supervisors and the OECD, under the aegis of the programme of the Centre for Co-operation with non-Members.

The objective of the Conference was to discuss the various important issues regarding the regulation and supervision of private pensions in the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on India. The conference was attended by both governmental and industry representatives of OECD member and non-member economies. The Asian Regional Meeting of the INPRS preceded the conference on 28 May 2003.
