Biography of Mr Jan-Peter Mout: OECD Policy Dialogue on Aid for Trade

Mr. Jan-Peter Mout is coordinator for Trade Related Assistance in the European Commission, Directorate General for Trade. He coordinated the participation of the EC and its Member States in the talks on Aid for Trade in the WTO. He participated in the IF Task Force and is involved in the programming of trade related assistance by the European Commission. Mr Mout was previously posted at the Dutch Permanent Representation in Geneva where he was responsible for WTO affairs, including trade and development, trade in services and government procurement. He worked in the UN Department of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was responsible for various development cooperation programmes and projects at the Dutch Embassy in Suriname. Mr Mout has a degree in Human Geography from the University of Amsterdam.
