Transfer Pricing Experts Meeting

The OECD Secretariat has held on 24 May 2004 the second of a series of meetings with a group of transfer pricing experts having a variety of professional backgrounds and coming from a variety of OECD countries (see agenda and list of participants attached). All participants were attending in a personal capacity. The list of invitees will change as the issues on the agenda evolve.

The objective is to share information on the OECD’s current work programme on transfer pricing and related matters and provide input to the OECD Secretariat on practical issues encountered by taxpayers in the application of the 1995 OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines as well as on new issues arising from the evolution of business practices.

This initiative is complementary to the already extensive contacts with the business community and other non-governmental organisations, in particular the regular meetings between members of the BIAC Fiscal Committee and Delegates to Working Party No. 6.

For any information on this initiative, please feel free to contact Caroline Silberztein, Head of the Transfer Pricing Unit (Caroline.Silberztein@oecd.org) or John Neighbour, Head of the Tax Treaties, Transfer Pricing and Financial Transactions Division (John.Neighbour@oecd.org).
