Francisco Benavides, Analyst, OECD

Francisco has been an education analyst at CERI/OECD since 2004. He is currently project officer of two projects:  Alternative models of learning (www.oecd.org/edu/emli) and Teacher Education for Diversity. He is also co-ordinates the OECD/CERI Spanish Speaking Seminars. He holds a BA in International Relations from the Tech de Monterrey, Mexico (ITESM) and a Master’s in Political Sciences, Development and Peace Studies from Sciences Po Paris (IEP). Before his experience at the OECD, he was journalist at Grupo Reforma and has worked and collaborated with different development NGOs in France, Croatia, Mozambique and Mexico. Research interests: alternative learning: migration, minorities, at risk population education issues; education during crises.
