Monday 17 March: OECD-IMF Conference on structural reform in Europe
News conference 11.30 a.m. with Angel Gurría and Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Managing director of the IMF.
Politicians, economists, trades unionists and business leaders meet for a one-day conference -open to the media - on the reforms required to boost jobs and productivity in Europe. Why do some reforms succeed and others fail? Where are reforms most needed? How can they be implemented effectively?
