On 3-4 November, 2004, trade policy makers, industry representatives, academics and other experts from OECD and non-OECD countries gathered in Bangkok, Thailand to discuss the challenge of trade-related structural adjustment.
It was an opportunity for an exchange of views and sharing of experiences on adjustment policies from the perspective of a range of stakeholders.The event was organised in co-operation with United Nations ESCAP and with the support of the Government of Thailand and the World Bank.
