The OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Programme participates in a Central Asia Invest event

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, 28-29 April 2009

The OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Programme was invited to participate in the Central Asia Invest stakeholders meeting in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on 28-29 April 2009.

Most Central Asian SMEs have fragmented knowledge of business administration, in particular of strategic marketing, appropriate marketing-mixes, and access to information and capital.

Business intermediary organisations can play a key role in the reform process, contributing to social development and employment opportunities. Recognising this role, Central Asia Invest seeks to promote business intermediary organisations, such as by enabling the exchange of knowledge and experiences  between Central Asian and international policy makers and experts.
