4th OECD-Asian Senior Budget Officials Meeting, 14-15 December 2006, Bangkok, Thailand

The 2006 OECD-Asia Senior Budget Officials 4th meeting, hosted by the The bureau of the Budget, Office of the Prime Minister, Thailand, took place in Bangkok on 14-15 December 2006. The meeting was co-chaired by the Thai budget director Mr. Vudhibandhu Vichairatana and the Permanent Secretary of the Australian Department of Finance (who also chairs SBO) Mr. Ian Watt. It opened with a keynote address by the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Mr. Pridiyathorn Devakula, which was followed by opening remarks by Deputy Secretary General Richard Hecklinger on behalf of the OECD.
