Biography

A graduate in philosophy, economics and international economic relations of the London School of Economics, the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) and the Universities of Southampton and Paris X-Nanterre, John joined the OECD in 1997 as an international migration analyst with the Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs.

 

He joined the Director’s office of the Development Centre in 2002 where, in addition to assisting the Director in his administrative tasks, he drafts the Centre’s official documents (such as the Programme of Work) and co-ordinates the preparation and follow-up of Governing Board meetings. In this capacity he acts as one of the Centre’s principal liaisons with member countries and the other parts of the OECD Secretariat.
