This 1st Annual Plenary was the culmination of a year of analytical work and dialogue carried out within the framework of the OECD Global Forum on Development. Participants in the Plenary were asked to reflect on the year of Global Forum activities, which addressed the flows and channels of development finance, the integration of global programmes into country strategies, the effectiveness of the multilateral system, and the emergence of new actors in development assistance. Discussions also helped determine the future agenda of the Global Forum on Development.
