8th Session of the Working Party on Territorial Indicators, May/June 2004: Presentations on Patterns and Trends in Regional Competitiveness

The 8th Session of the TDPC Working Party on Territorial Indicators was held on 31 May and 1 June 2004 and was kindly hosted by the National Statistical Office of Portugal.  It took place at the Instituto Nacional de Estatística (INE) in Lisbon, Portugal, on 31 May - 1 June 2004. This session took the form of a workshop and delegates were invited to present papers on Patterns and Trends in Regional Competitiveness based on the data from the OECD Territorial Database.

• An Analysis of OECD Countries Based on Regional Development Policies in Poland (presentation by Grzegorz Kozmin, Poland).
• Regional Disparities and Territorial Indicators in Turkey (presentation by Bűlent Dincer and Metin Őzalan, Turkey).
