OECD Seed Schemes: Rules and Regulations
- The 2012 edition replaces the previous version, the “2011 OECD Seed Schemes”, however no changes have been made to the document since the 2011 version. Changes approved at the 2011 Annual Meeting will be submitted for Council approval, and the printed version will then become available in mid-2012.
- This edition also includes the Notification for the Extension of South Africa’s participation in the Cereal Seed Scheme [TAD/CA(2010)10] and the Notification on the Consolidation of OECD Seed Schemes Rules [TAD/CA(2010)18].
- In July 2008, the OECD Council decided to Delegate to the Committee for Agriculture the Authority to approve the technical amendments in annexes to the OECD Codes and Schemes [C(2008)120].
- Following this decision, the Committee for Agriculture approved in 2010 the following amendments to the Seed Schemes: Amendment to the Rules for Acceptance of Varieties [TAD/CA(2010)9] and Amendment to the Rules on Multiplication Abroad [TAD/CA(2010)19].
