  • Development aid rises again in 2015, spending on refugees doubles

    In 2015, net official development assistance (ODA) flows from member countries of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the OECD totalled USD 131.6 billion. Adjusting for inflation and the appreciation of the US dollar, this represents an increase of 6.9% in real terms, the highest level ever achieved for net ODA. Net ODA as a share of gross national income (GNI) was 0.30%, on a par with 2014.
