The DAC Quality Standards for Development Evaluation provide a guide to good practice in development evaluation. They are intended to improve the quality of evaluation processes and products and to facilitate collaboration. Built through international consensus, the Standards outline the key quality dimensions for each phase of a typical evaluation process: defining purpose, planning, designing, implementing, reporting, and learning from and using evaluation results. The Standards begin with some overall considerations to keep in mind throughout the evaluation process. An annex provides references to related OECD DAC development evaluation publications.
DAC 개발평가 품질기준은 개발평가에서의 올바른 관행에 대한 지침을 제공함. 이는 평가과정 및 결과물의 품질을 제고하고 협력을 촉진하기 위함임. 본 지침서는 국제적인 합의에 근거하여 제작 되었으며, 일반적인 평가과정인 목적 정의, 기획, 설계, 수행, 보고, 교훈도출 및 평가결과 활용 등 각 단계별 품질과 관련된 주요 요소들을 개괄하고 있음. 본고의 도입부에는 평가과정 전반에 걸쳐 고려하여야 할 유의사항들이 기술되어 있음. 부록에는 OECD 개발원조위원회(DAC)가 발행한 개발평가관련 고자료들이 수록되어 있음.
