    Speaking at the launch of the Perspectives on Global Development 2010, Angel Gurría says that the centre of economic gravity is moving from West to East, from the industrialised economies to the large developing economies, particularly China and India.     The economic and financial crisis is accelerating a longer-term structural transformation in the global economy, with the aggregate economic weight of developing and emerging economies on the verge of surpassing that of the countries that currently make up the advanced world, according to new analysis from the OECD Development Centre.
