This preparatory meeting of the 2015 Global Forum on Development addressed the role of remittances in financing for sustainable development. During the session, panellists discussed the factors that could contribute to making remittances a better financing tool for sustainable development, as well as the role of public policies in enhancing the development potential of remittances.
