Biography

Espen Prydz works on gender issues in the Poverty Reduction and Social Development group, especially in his position as statistician for the Gender, Institutions and Development Data Base. He also coordinates the publication of country notes documenting gender discrimination in developing and emerging economies, and supports work on Wikigender.

Before joining the Development Centre, Espen did economic research with the Poverty Action Lab in Western Kenya. Prior to that, Espen worked as a knowledge management analyst with UNDP’s Environment Group in New York. Espen completed his studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2005.
