In 2005, the country recorded modest growth of 2.8 per cent (down from 3.5 per cent in 2004).
Cameroon’s transport system is reasonably diversified and complementary but infrastructure is inadequate and often in a bad state.
With Cameroon expected to reach its HIPC completion point in 2006, the country can be considered to have reached a turning point.
