What: News conference to launch the OECD Development Centre’s latest Latin American Economic Outlook (LEO 2010). This year’s Outlook analyses the impact of the economic crisis in Latin America, highlights trends in migration and remittance flows, and recommends policy co-ordination between sending and recipient countries to increase employment and promote development.

When: Monday 30 November 2009, at 16:00 GMT.

Who: OECD Secretary-General, Angel Gurria, with comments by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, Luis Filipe Marques Amado; the President of the Inter-American Development Bank, Luis Alberto Moreno; the Secretary-General of the Organisation of American States, José Miguel Insulza; and the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, Alicia Bárcena.
