The purpose of this review is to provide an independent, evidence-based assessment of the development effectiveness of UNDP. The review synthesized 55 evaluations that concentrated on UNDP programming between 2005 and 2011.

The Health Results Innovations Trust Fund is a multi-donor trust fund supported by the governments of Norway and the United Kingdom and managed by the World Bank. This evaluation is the first in a series of evaluations which will take place over the course of the programme.
