The purpose of this review is to provide an independent, evidence-based assessment of the development effectiveness of UNDP. The review synthesized 55 evaluations that concentrated on UNDP programming between 2005 and 2011.

The Health Results Innovations Trust Fund is a multi-donor trust fund supported by the governments of Norway and the United Kingdom and managed by the World Bank. This evaluation is the first in a series of evaluations which will take place over the course of the programme.

Peer Review of the Evaluation Function: UN-Habitat
The panel finds that, generally, evaluations conducted are balanced, producing reports of good quality and that the evaluations carried out have been found to be useful. There presently, however, no Evaluation Policy in place and no clear definition of roles for evaluation planning.
