OECD and World Bank sign MOU on promoting education for children with disabilities

The OECD and World Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding over the coming five years to co-operate on the gathering of prevalence data on children with disabilities. The intention is to provide data  to inform planning to achieve the Millennium Development Goals 2 and 3. These focus on achieving universal completion of primary education by 2015 and promoting the education of girls.

School Earthquake Safety Review

PEB will organise a school earthquake safety review in which governments from OECD and non-OECD countries, including individual provinces and states, are invited to participate. The review will be composed of a self-evaluation questionnaire and an optional review visit conducted by a team of experts to interested countries.
