Compendium submissions are opening

The OECD Centre for Effective Learning Environments (CELE) will accept submissions of schools and universities to publish in its 4th Compendium of Exemplary Educational Facilities.

CELE conference on spaces for higher education

The CELE international conference "Higher Education Spaces and Places: For Learning, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange", being held jointly with the University of Latvia in Riga, will explore how to create sustainable educational facilities that will meet the needs of future generations. It will consider how innovative environments can promote active and collaborative learning, critical thinking, and knowledge creation. And it will examine the role of these spaces and places within both the urban and rural contexts.

The OECD’s Programme on Institutional Management in Higher Education (IMHE) has launched a call for contributions for its next General Conference, Higher Education in a World Changed Utterly: Doing More with Less, 13-15 September 2010.
