OECD provides leadership in the development of indicators to measure environmental performance, provides harmonised data and helps countries improve their environmental information systems. OECD's environment-economic modelling work produces future-looking projections of selected environmental issues. OECD Environment Ministers met on 29-30 March 2012 in Paris under the theme of Making Green Growth Deliver. They discussed future priorities for action based on the OECD Environmental Outlook to 2050, which makes a strong case for green growth policies.
