The OECD publishes a wide range of detailed structural and short-term industry and services statistics (www.oecd.org/std/industry-services) to meet economists and policy makers' needs for comparable statistics and policy-relevant indicators in industry and services so that they have a more precise knowledge of economic developments. Focus 
The Manual includes indicators that are essential for comparability across OECD countries and the investigation of entrepreneurship, namely indicators of employer enterprises, and, importantly, high growth enterprises, particularly young high-growth enterprises, referred to here as "gazelles".
