Agricultural research faces new issues, from food security to ecological concerns to land use. Recent progress and future challenges in agricultural research were discussed at a conference organised by the OECD Co-operative Research Programme (CRP) and held in Prague in April 2009 with the co-operation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic.
