OECD work on spam

Spam undermines user trust online, reduces firm productivity, and increases costs for Internet service providers. An OECD Task Force developed an anti-spam Toolkit in 2006 to help governments, regulators and industry players orient their policies relating to spam solutions. It included the OECD recommendation on cross-border enforcement of laws against spam. Progress made in the implementation of this Recommendation will soon be reviewed by the ICCP and the CCP, in collaboration with the London Action Plan and other interested parties.
