OECD Work on Spam

Spam undermines user trust online, reduces firm productivity, and increases costs for Internet service providers.  A variety of measures and initiatives have been undertaken to address spam by OECD countries, but it is recognised that no single approach will likely succeed without close international co-ordination. The OECD Task Force has developed the anti-spam Toolkit (www.oecd-antispam.org), an instrument to help governments, regulators and industry players orient their policies relating to spam solutions.
