The Steel Committee, a global platform where multilateral steel problems and policy solutions are discussed, will hold its 64th session in Paris, La Défense, on 22-23 May 2008. Governments, industry representatives and other stakeholders will meet to discuss issues including the outlook for steel and raw material markets, steel trade and trade policy developments, government support measures for steel, and environmental challenges.
