English and the French web editions of the OECD Observer are now optimised for mobile phones and iPhones. Now readers on the move can catch up on news stories, latest headline data, articles and video streams on their handsets more easily, without the inconvenience of having to scroll through the clutter of normal websites. The new mobile/iPhone sites open automatically with the usual URL. Also, the new e-alert service includes links to the mobile version of the stories. Sign up today at www.oecdobserver.org

Social media bookmark icons are now displayed at the bottom of all OECD Observer stories (all top social networks, including Facebook, Digg, Myspace, etc).
