2001, there is a methodological break because the
statistical unit is not any more the
establishment but the "management unit"
which is nearer to the enterprise; furthermore,
Production and Value added data are now at factor
costs.
Belgium: the
variables Employment, total; Employers'social
costs and Hours worked by employees are now
available from 1995.
Canada: a few
services sectors are available for the variables
Production, Compensation of labour and
Establishements.
France: Hours worked
by employees is available from 1999.
Germany: for the
year 2000, all entreprises are covered including
those with less than 20 employees for which
estimates are made.
Hungary: from 1998,
there is a methodological break because the
statistical unit is not any more the

the value added is now at factor costs. The
variables Employment, total; Wages and salaries,
total and the number of Entreprises are available
from 1998.
Norway: the variable Production at factor costs
is available from the year 2000.
Poland: the variable Employers' social costs,
employees is available from 1995.
Portugal: data for Investment, machinery &
equipment and for Hours worked by employees are
available from 1996.
Sweden: the variable Hours worked by employees is
available in 2000.
Turkey: data for Employment, females; Wages and
salaries, operatives; Employers' social costs,
employees and for Hours worked by operatives are
available from the year 1992.
