Paris, 22-23 November 2004. This conference addressed the issue of the management and compensation of large-scale disasters - be they natural catastrophes, accidental man-made disasters, or terrorist acts.
This meeting, which took place in Paris on 19 November 2004, explored the complementary roles of the MENA-OECD Investment Programme and the G-8 Investment Task Force in promoting key reforms to improve the investment climate and fostering private sector development in the MENA region.
Participants discussed and endorsed “Priorities for Implementing IFRS in the Russian Federation” and "Implementing Effective Disclosure of Related Party Transactions and Beneficial Ownership in Russia”.
The Fourth Forum for Asian Insolvency Reform (FAIR) took place in New Delhi, India, on 3-5 November 2004. The Forum was organised by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Asian Development Bank, in partnership with the World Bank and the Japanese government.
