The theme for the 8th Global Forum on International Investment was “Beyond the Crisis: International investment for a stronger, cleaner, fairer global economy”.
The global economic crisis has already wiped out trillions in global wealth and the prospects for 2009 and even into 2010 are grim. This is why governments and international organisations like the OECD have put so much effort into developing new policy strategies for bringing the crisis to an end.
