The Eurasia Corporate Governance Roundtable was established in October 2000, with its mandate ending in 2008. Over this time, the Roundtable assisted participating countries to developing policy responses using the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance as a conceptual framework.
After the publication of the 2004 report “Corporate Governance in Eurasia: A Comparative Overview”, the Eurasian Corporate Governance Roundtable entered the second phase of its work, moving from awareness-raising, stock-taking and initial assessment towards defining approaches to implementation of good practices and discussion of policy priorities and reforms in concrete and more technical areas of corporate governance.
