The Asia Network on Corporate Governance of SOEs met on 19-20 April 2007 in Cebu, The Philippines. The meeting focused on two chapters of the OECD guidelines on corporate governance of state owned enterprises, namely the responsibilities of the boards and relations with stakeholders (chapters VI and IV). The meeting was co-hosted by the Institute of Corporate Directors in partnership with the Office of the President and the Department of Finance.
This meeting is the second one of the Asia Network on Corporate Governance of SOEs, which brings together the experience of experts from all Asian economies.
