The meeting of the Network on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises in Asia was held 20-21 May 2009 in Bangkok and was co-hosted by the SEPO (State Enterprises Policy Office of the Ministry of Finance, Thailand).

Since 2005, this Network has been working on the promotion of SOE governance reforms in the Asian economic, legal and regulatory context. A consensus Regional Policy Brief has been developed which provides recommendations and priorities for policy reform.

This year the discussions focussed on implementation of the Policy Brief using case studies on good practice from around the Asia region.
