The OECD and the Millennium Development Goals: Addressing key challenges in development

On 20-22 September 2010 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, a summit of the UN General Assembly will:

assess progress in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)
renew political commitment to achieve these goals
agree on a global action agenda to accelerate progress to 2015 - the target date to achieve them

The Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, is scheduled to attend and participate in discussions:
