The DAC encourages all providers of development co-operation to report their aid flows and is available to assist in this effort. More detailed and comprehensive information on these flows allows providers and recipients alike to make more informed decisions on aid allocations and helps to identify countries and sectors that may be over- or under-funded.
The OECD Key Partners - Brazil, China, India, Indonesia and South Africa - currently do not report their statistics on Development Finance to the OECD. Nevertheless, the Secretariat makes estimates on the development co-operation flows of these countries based on their public national documents or information available on the websites of multilateral organisations amongst others.
