This paper is intended to provide some initial reflections for the DAC Network on Gender Equality on whether, and to what degree, linkages can be made between the work on Global Public Goods (GPGs) and the promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Switzerland has a long tradition of international assistance; its aid to humanitarian causes and multilateral donors serves as lessons in good practice. Switzerland also contributes to international thinking on governance and development in fragile situations.
