The Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness sets out the commitment of development agencies and partner countries to finding more effective ways of working together. The DAC Network on Development Evaluation has long been in the lead of promoting joint evaluations and Network meetings provide both formal and informal opportunities for exchanging ideas and plans.
In order to enhance transparency and facilitate identification of opportunities for collaboration, members of the Network have agreed to systematically share future evaluation plans and work programmes. The purpose of this page is to facilitate this sharing and encourage collaboration in various stages of the evaluation process.
The evaluation plan inventory is based on plans provided to the secretariat by members. Members can, by downloading the spreadsheet, search planned evaluations using a filter system which sorts evaluations by member conducting the evaluation, sector, date, country and if it is a joint exercise or not. The system will help members, when planning evaluations, to take into account what others are doing, and consider collaborative or joint work.
