Tsunami Evaluation Coalition

The Tsunami Evaluation Coalition was constituted in February 2005. It is an informal grouping of donors, UN agencies, (I)NGOs and the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement. The Coalition’s purpose is to promote a sector-wide approach to evaluations of the tsunami response in order to optimise sector-wide learning and to develop, test and validate produces for the future timely establishment of such an evaluation coordination (coalition) mechanism that could facilitate such an approach.
